Looking for a Director of Clinical Sciences, this position is fully remote. No MD required.

A global biotech with a Phase I-III solid tumor programms is seeking an experienced Clinical Science Team Lead to support their clinical development. The company recently received funding and now wants to begin the next stages of their growth.

Therefore I am looking for a highly motivated Clinical Scientist who has extensive experience in developing study protocols, running clinical trials (ideally oncology) and has either mentored or directly lead groups of Clinical Scientists.

Role Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Lead a small team of Clinical Scientists, providing guidance and support as direct reports.
• Protocol Development & Management: Author and manage clinical trial documents such as synopses, protocols (CTPs), amendments, trial reports (CTRs), and patient-related materials (PIS-ICFs). Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
• Clinical Development Leadership: Lead the clinical development of cancer immunotherapies (Phase 1 to 3) across multiple solid tumor indications, focusing on two bi-specific molecules targeting distinct tumor markers.
• Strategic Input & Stakeholder Alignment: Contribute to advisory boards and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) interactions, ensuring agreement on clinical strategy, including target medicine profiles, tumor indications, and trial designs.
• Documentation & Reports: Oversee the preparation and review of clinical sections for investigator brochures (IB) and safety update reports (DSURs).
• Subject Matter Expertise: Provide technical expertise in clinical research programs as needed.

Requirements:

• Essential: Extensive experience in Clinical Development (clin ops only experience will not work).
• Essential: Extensive Biotech or Pharma experience (those with CRO only experience will not work).
• Strong Preference: Oncology trial design / operations experience.
• Strong Preference: Previous line management responsibility. Ideally in Clinical Development but could be from different roles.
• Good to have but not essential: Phase III Trial Design / Study work in Oncology (ideally in biologics).
• Ideal mindset: Proactive and adaptable mindset. Patient and supportive with team. Driven for excellence in trial design and execution.

The offer:

• Salary: €: 110,000 - €130,000 + Bonus
• Fully home based anywhere in Germany.
