Job description
Home based Medical Director position open (Germany). MD required. Clinical Development. Title based on seniority (can be more senior).
A global biotech with 2x FiH studies, 1x Phase II and 1x Phase III is currently looking to add a Medical Director to their team.
One of my favourite clients, they are respectful, fast at giving feedback and truly care about bringing drugs/research into the cancer drug community.
Role Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical development strategies, aligned with company objectives.
- Assist in designing clinical trial protocols, study endpoints, and patient selection criteria.
- Collaborate with the team to review and interpret clinical trial data and provide recommendations for future development plans.
- Reporting into the Chief Medical Officer.
- Support the CMO, CRO and others with Medical Monitoring and other essential day-to-day hands on actiities needed for successful clinical research.
- Support the operational aspects of clinical trials, including protocol development, investigator selection, medical and study monitoring.
- Contribute to the preparation and review of clinical trial-related documentation, such as INDs, investigator brochures, and regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including translational research, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs, to ensure alignment of clinical strategies and efficient communication.
Qualifications:
- MD required.
- Note: I have non-MD positions available too - so if you are a non-MD Clinical Developer, still apply.
- Essential: Working on clinical oncology trials
- Essential: Previous work in medical monitoring, clinical development or investigator work. A pure Clin Ops or Translational background will not work.
- Essential: Some industry experience (Biotech/Pharma preferred but open to CRO work).
- German not needed.

- €110,000 to €150,000 base salary.
