Senior Clinical Scientist - Germany

Currently looking for 2x Clinical Scientists. For the Senior Clinical Scientist position, you should have trial design experience (Oncology, Haematology or Immunology) and for the Clinical Scientist role there is more flexibility and you can have a pure Clin Ops background or Translational background (must have Oncology or Haem though).

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Phase II Oncology clinical trials and support them as they develop into Phase III programs.
• Work with the Medical Team, Clinical Operations, Regs, Biostats and all other external and internal partners to make sure the trial design is correct and no delays.
• Develop, maintain, and implement controlled documents like SOPs for clinical trials.
• Provide scientific and clinical expertise in the preparation of clinical study reports, manuscripts, and regulatory submissions.
• Analyze and interpret complex clinical data, offering insights and recommendations for project advancement and potential areas of improvement.
• Mentor and guide junior clinical scientists and other team members, fostering a collaborative and productive research environment.
• Stay current with advancements in clinical research methodologies, therapeutic areas, and regulatory landscapes to ensure innovative and compliant trial designs.
• Summary - make sure you help create the smartest and most effective clinical trials so more drugs can get to patients (or trials can be killed quicker if not right)!

Requirements:

• For the Senior position - must have 1 year + trial design / development experience in related field (drugs, onco, haem or immuno).
• Ideal, not essential, you have BLA experience (worked on a Phase III trial and needed to think about, speak with or plan for those relevant to a BLA).
• Essential - you have worked in a biotech, pharma or CRO company.
• Essential - you have clinical trial experience. Areas I can consider are Clinical Development / Sciences, Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs (if you were hands on setting up the PIII) and Translational.
• Essential - you have Oncology, Haematology or Immunology trial experience.
• Proven track record of working alongside internal / external stakeholders to run effective clinical trials.
• English only.
• Travel to Munich - Full remote is possible but travel to Munich from time to time is essential.
